/r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit. A few people were complaining in my guild about connection issues, and I just DC'ed at the end
So i ran into an odd situation today where i wasnt able to join the squad members i was a part of (picture below shows what i mean, the button is just gone.) Prior to that image being taken, the commander and a few others left the map to do something and when they came back they got thrown into separate instances, despite being in a squad.
a) Stereo. b) Handsfree (mono) My default connection on the PC is Stereo. All sound from my PC works fine to my headphones. GW2 outputs no sound when I use 'Default Device' or when I choose Beats Solo 3 'Stereo'. GW2 sound outputs perfectly if I select Beats Solo 3 'Handsfree' . but it sounds rubbish in mono!
So the issue is not in the network but in my PC. Today I used a webpage to check if the ports where trully open or not. It appears as they are still closed so I checked again my Firewall exceptions, deleted the older rules and made them from scratch (Inbound and Outbound TCP&UDP rules for ports 80, 443 & 6112).
