arowz1. • 3 yr. ago. Influence in Bannerlord is a currency. You use it to sway the king’s or your people’s opinions when you have to make a diplomacy decision like choosing peace or who gets a fief. You spend influence to choose an unpopular opinion and make it popular. You also spend influence on Cohesion.
When you join a faction your banner swaps to their color by default. It is possible to remain in a faction and keep your custom banner color. Simply go back into your banner editor after joining a faction and edit it back to your liking. Alternatively, if you have a banner code cntrl-v it back into the editor. But late game is in Bannerlord not as good designed, so, I stop to play normally. Its just borring to siege enemies after your conquered 5 towns. And no advantage. and unfortunately no content for late game, just fight, fight and fight. The only downside of becoming a vassal is that when/if you ultimately leave and take your holdings with you
